DIEGO SUAREZ.

The Times recently published a description of the French coaling station at Diego Suarez, Madagascar. The port of Diego Suarez, it states, is very well known to small section of British officers of both services, but the general public is probably unacquainted with the Advantages prasersed by this grand harbour, which in extent and security is one of the finest in the world. The entrance to the bay from the Indian Ocean is through the narrow Ozonfia Past, which will somewhat remind the Russians of the entrance channel to Port Arthur. It is half a mile wide and from 3 to 26 fathoms deep in the centre. Inside the bay there is a vast expants of sheltered anchorage,
