The annual prize distribution to the students of the above College, prior to the breakup for the Christmas holidays, took place on Satur day afternoon, when H. E, Sir Matthew Nathan presided and distributed the prizes. There was a fairly large attendance, the actual buai- ness being preceded by a brief entertainment, song and recitations being given "by the boys in good style.

E. the Governor, two lots of Crown Land were let by public auction, for terms of 75 years with the option of renewal at the expiration of those periods at a Crown rent to be fixed by the Surveyor of the King, for a further period of 75 years. The first lot is situated at Causeway bay and is registered as inland lot No. 1723, contains 37,000 square feet, and carrying an annual Crown root of $382.
