Str. Hang Mak from Singapore :-Fine wea ther to Paracels, from thence to port strong N.E. gale with high confused sea, vessel lab. ouring heavily and shipping large quantities of water.

Str. Ikbal from Durban-Twelve hours out From there encountered a heavy SW gale and very high sea, which continued to the following day; after this we experienced lighty and Ely winds to Long. 48* E., then light N. and N.E. winds, with moderate Ely swell to Long, 75 E.. when we picked up 5.E. trades, which bfew fresh to about Lat. 3o S., from then through Malacca fine weather, and light Fly winds to about 11 N. when we picked up the N.E mosson, blowing strong and high seas, which continued to end of passage.
