On her eighth birthday, which was a few weeks ago, this infant prodigy lectured before the Waterbury Scientific Society and at the annual meeting of the Connecticut Eclectic Society in Hartford she was voted to be s wonder of the age. After each lecture Geraldine takes up a collection in a porcelain skull. She has nearly 3 now, and asserts that she will not touch her earnings until there is enough to buy a skeleton. She asked Santa Claus to bring her one last Christmas, but Santa Claus disappointed her.
