HE O. & Q. Steamship "DORIC" will be despatched for SAN FRANCISCO, TAMUY, SHANGHAI, NAGASAKI, KOBE, INLAND SEA, YOKOHAMA and HONOLULU, TO-MORROW, the 9th July, at Noon, taking Freight for Japan, the United States, and Europe. Passengers are allowed to break their journey at any point en route. Through Passage Tickets granted to England, France and Germany by all trans-Atlantic lines of Steamers, and to the principal cities of the United States or Canada.
Passengers holding through ORDERS TO EUROPE have the choice of the Overland Rail Routes from San Francisco, including the SOUTHERN PACIFIC, CENTRAL PACIFIO, UNION PACIFIC, DENVER and RIO GRANDE, and NORTHERN PACIFIC RAIL WAY; also the CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY on payment of £4 in addition to the regular tarif rate.

Two powerful Twin Screw Towboats are available for taking Vessels in or out of Dock, and for taking Sailing Vessels in or out of the bay. The floating derrick is capable of lifting 35 tops.
