on New Year's Day. They are the same se those at present in use at Shanghai, and wilj be hoisted on the mast beside the time-ball A Kowloon Point for the information of masters of vessels leaving the port. They do not neces·' sarily imply that bad weather is expected: The signals are as follows:--
