IN HONGKONG, Amang the assengers arriving in Hongkong last evening, on the P. & O. str. Coromandel, were Sir Frederick and Lady Treves and party, who have come on from Calcutta, whither the King's Surgeon bad been summoned to attend the Pr me Minister of Nepal. The distinguish ed visitors to the Colony will be the guests at Government House during their stay in Hong- kong. It is interesting to note that Sir Frederick is one of the youngest of the leading surgeons of the day, being barely 51 years of agn. He lives a simple life of hard work, rising 1.. Will the President be good enough to layout five o'clock in the morning and usually retir.
