A meeting of the Sanitary Board was held this afternoon in the Board Room. Present The President (Hon. Dr. J. M. Atkinson, P.C..O.), Hon. W. Chatham, (D.P.W,), Mr. C. Mcl. Mr. Fung Wa Chun minuted quite agree with the acting M, O. H. that the people would never catch or allow the rats to be caught even if cages are put in their houses, that their houses be upset by the disinfecting gang. The best policy of the Board is to offer the cleans- ing to the tenants with disinfectants supplied free of charge. In that case we may hope that the destruction of rats can te done effectively.

The President's suggestion was adopted.
