RICE CROP PROSPECTS-The prospect of the rice crop of this year in Japaa is not a bad one, but it is generally believed that the result will be a decrease as compared with the previous year. In 19of the actual total yield of rice was 46,914,943 kuku. On good authority it is now reckoned that the present crop will be less by about 6 per cent.
