The machinery used is the most modern

type and we have gone to great expense to

The Manufactory is under the personal! supervision of a QUALIFIED ENGLISH CHEMIST, who has dévoted years to bring- this branch of the trade to perfection.

The Water used is analysed daily to en- sure of its absolute purity, and when we say that our method of manufacture has been approved by Sanitary and Medical Authori ties; it is in itself a sufficient guaranice.

ELECTRICITY:-At a recent meeting of the British Institution of Elecrical Engineers the question of applying electricity to main line railways as a substitute for scam was the sub ject of discussion. It seems from what was said that the problem of operating trains/'on large rail- ways by electricity is far from being solved. It differs materially in every respect from the problems met in ordinary trolley road practice, both in the matter of cost and manipulation, and the engineers are convinced that the age of steam in railroading is far from coming to an end.
