These figures speak for themselves, and they afforded reason for much thankfulness at his crisis of the Church's history.

Amongst those who have been specially identified with the Church's work during considerable periods. of time, and who have passed away during the present Pastorate, may be mentioned, Dr. Legge and Dr. Chalmers, former pastors.of.the Church; Mrs. Chalmers ; Mrs. Mudie and Mrs. Cobban, long associated with the work of the Choir; Chief-Inspector Mathieson; Mr. Hugh McCallum, for many years the Church Secretary; and Mr. R.
