A SCORE BOOK FOR GOLFERS.

There has just been introduced a very simple

and convenient device for registering the score of different games, being especially arranged for golf players. The scorer is in the form of a flat book, which may be easily carried in the pocket. The back cover has attached to it a series of split leaves of varied length, each leaf carrying a pair of numbered discs, which show their successive discs through V-shaped slots cut in the lower edges of the leaves.

A feature of this arrangement is that any. leaf may be lifted to afford access to the discs it contins without interfering with the other leaves.

As the edges of the disc are roughened it is a simple matter to lift the proper leaf and turn the disc to expose the proper number.

When the game is ended the total number of strokes is easily obtained by adding the visible figures in each column."

In addition to this scoring device the book also carries a paper pad for making permanent record of each score, the sheets being folded through the centre and inserted under the wire

bale in the back of the book, allowing them to be readily replaced when filled with records,
