BOVRIL ISN'T DEAR, in fact, value for value, it is one of the cheapest drinks and one of the most economical foods that can be obtained. A cup of hot Bovril costs less than a drink of whisky, and while giving a more genuine and lasting warmth than the latter, contains, in addition, the nutritive principles of beef worth many times its cost.

Old fashioned beef teas and meat extracts, whether known as such, or disguised under more pretentious modern names contain aene of the NUTRITIVE properties of beef.
