On the 17th at 5.25 m. Black South Cone lowered At 11.50 am. The barometer has risen considerably on the China coast, and slightly in the Phillipines. The typhoon has pro- bably passed into the S., part of the Gulf of Tongking. A high pressure is central over N. China, and gradients are steep generally with heavy monsoon along the coast, and in the N. part of the China, Sea. Forecast-strong N.E. winds, aqually, some rain.
