On the 14th at 4.20 p.m. Typhoon approaching East coast of Central Luzon, apparently, moving W.N.W. at present.

On the 15th at 11.00 am. Red South Cone hoisted. The barometer is rising in the Phillipines, falling over S. China. The typhoon has moved into the China Sea, and seems to be now lying. off the W. coast of Luran in about 16" Lat. It is probably moving towards W.N.W. at present. Pressure remains high over N. China. Strong N.E. winds to gales off the coasts of S. Chins, and in the N. part of the China Sea. Forecast-N.E. winds, probably increasing to a gale; squally, showery."
