Were it possible 10 furnish the market, Was invented to realise Baron von Liebig's at a reasonable price, with a preparation of desire for a meat food that would contain meat combining in itself, the albuminous not only the stimulating properties of flesh together with the extractive principles, such

a preparation would have to be preferred as all Meat Extracts and Beef Teas do to extractum carnis, for it would contain all but also the nourishing properties of flesh,

the nutritive constituents of meat. I have before stated that in preparing the Extract of Meat the albuminous principles remain in the residue; they are must nutritive, and this is certainly à great disadvantage.
