He like the late Commissioner, Mr. Munro, gained his first laurels in Bengal, and, although he has only been a short time in Whitehall, already made himself respected and gained une esteem and confidence of all. Dr. Krause's luggage and that of another person is now deposited in the strong room at New Scotland Yard, It is stated that the going to and fro of certain suspected persons between London, Southamp ton, and the Cape is to be stayed.
