On the 2nd at 433 pan. The typhoon is approaching the E. coast of Central Luzon, and probably moving W.N.W.

On the 3rd at 1.15 am... The barometer has fallen moderately on the China coast, risen slightly in the S. Philipines. The typhoon appears to be now lying over the W. coast of Luzon in about 16' Lat. Probably it is moving towards N.W, at present, but there are indications of recurvature. A second depression is situated over China to the N.W. of Foochow. Moderate variable winds on the China coast, and strong N. and N.E. winds to gales in the N.E part of the China Sea. Forecast-N. winds, moderate or fresh ; fine.
