H.M.S. VICTORIOUS" AND TRE SUEZ CANAL AUTHORITIES.

Cap Fliber, H.M.S. Blankets, on the passage oal, was entrusted with the pleasant task of preseming, on tehall of the Lords Com- missioners of the Admiralty, a number of tokens recognition of the v luible services of the Canal and Port Said Harbour Officials in connectiois with the grounding of H.M.S. Victorious.

The formal presentation was made on the quarter deck of H. M.S. Blenheim at Fort on the 29th July, in the presence of a large gathering of visitors from the shore.
