Blankets, on the passage oal, was entrusted with the pleasant task of preseming, on tehall of the Lords Com- missioners of the Admiralty, a number of tokens recognition of the v luible services of the Canal and Port Said Harbour Officials in connectiois with the grounding of H.M.S. Victorious.
The formal presentation was made on the quarter deck of H. M.S. Blenheim at Fort on the 29th July, in the presence of a large gathering of visitors from the shore.

The Psychi, cruiser, which was launched at Devonport Dickyard on 19th inst, is at the Palorus type, and was designed by Sir W. H. Watte, Director of Naval Construction. Her length between perpendiculars is 300ft, and her extreme breadth 37ft. When completed ske will have a lead draught of 120, of water forward and 1ght. aft, and be displacement will be 1,170 tons. Her engines have been made at the Keyham factory. They compilas two complete sets of vertical triple expansion engines, each capable of developing 3,500-horse power, with 220 revolutions per minute; and her speed atthe fall power of 7,000 kh.p. is expected to be twenty knots. Her bollers will be of the Thorneycreft type. The armament will consist of eight 4-in. quick-firing guns, eight 3-pr. Rotchkiss guns, and she has also two 14-la, protected broadside torpedo tabes.
