THE RE VARIETY CLUB.
The members of the R. E. Variety Club gave another of their popular entertainment at Wellington Harrack, lastevening in the Theatre (host house) before a large and enthostatic audience. The place was tastefully decorated and large amount of sklil was shown in the alage 'strangements, which reflected credit on il concerned. The orchestra, conducted by Mr. T. C. Hughes considerably added to the success of the show. Soms excellent songs were given In the Grit pari, the comic element being fally supplied by Sappers Rogers and Rutherford and corporal Ward. Sapper Splliard also made a hii with bis fine rendering of " Sunshine above.” The success of the evening was the duet *Excelsior" by C. S. M. Boulton and Mrs. Houlton." The lady's singing and playing were alks admirable and she received a very hand. some floral tribute, besides several recalls. The second part consisted of a good selection of sept mental and comic songs and the programime closed with * #domestic comedy drama" entitled "Our Lotife." Sapper D.
