"Thero is to be a new Irish invasion of the Hopia of Commons. So many people have of late demanded Sir JOHN POWER & CO'S IRISH WHISKEY, that the Kitchen Committee have, I am given to understand, made up their minds that the sale of spieltuous liquors in the Palace of Westminister (an- licensed) is to be focreased by the illegal supply of popular measures of that well- known Dublin brand. The agitation for the inclusion of Power's Whiskey in the lists of liquors suppiled at the House bas was, I may mention, started so far back as the beginning of last session. It was purely a matter of taste not of trade, and up to the present date SL JOHN POWER & Co. were in blank ignorance of the whole affair."
