"There is to be a new Irish invasion of the House of Commons. So many people bare of late demanded SL JOHN POWER & CO'S IRISH WHISKEY, ibai the Kitchen Cummittee have, am given to underland, made up their minds that the sale of spirituous liquors in the Palace of Westminister (un- licensed) is to be lacreased by the illegal supply of popular measures of that well- known Dahlin brand. The agitation for the inclusion of Power's Whiskey in the lists of liquors supplied at the House bass was, I may mention, started so far back as the beginning of last reusion. It was purely a matter of taste not of trade, and up to the present date Sir JOHN POWER & Co..were in blank Ignorance of the whole affair."
