From the kick off the R A. were the first to attack, a good shot from their right wing just mlesing, but Kowloon were 100 at the other and, Bailam however putting out rather badly. The ball travelled from one goal to the other repeatedly, Lapsley being very useful to bis side, as again and again he changed the venue by his strong and sura kicking,
against which ha had no sarikly chanco. His unexpected reversa ronzed the "Gunatte" and the pace, which had previously been fast, now became a "cracker." The Ri A. pressed, but sterling play on the part of the Kawloon right back repeatedly averted disaster. The "Gan- norm” however were not to be dented and played for all they were worth. At last a well placed ball from their felt hack (who throughout played a wonderful gime) gavo the leside left the desired opportunity, and he, taking full advant- age, lowered Burrell's colours (for the second Hme this season) with a tremendous drive, which was followed by an equally tremendous yell from 1500 throats proclaiming the fact that the R.
