CONDITIONS OF TENDERING.
-No tender will be vrceived unless the tenderer produces a receipt from the Treasurer for.
(4) A deposit of $30,000, or of Title Deeds, or other approved secules to a ké amount, and
(i).) A stamped #greement to be executed by him on a form provided by the Treasurer, to the effct that, I he should decline to accept a grant of the Farm on the terms of the terdet sent In by him, such desposit or securlies shall be forfelted to the Crown, Sach deposit must be completed not later than Noon on the 1ind of October. All de posits will be returned to unsuccessful tenderers. 2-The tender must state the monthly sum offered for the Farm as rent.
3-The Government does not bind zelf to

4-The successful tenderer iball deposit with the Treasurer security, either money or title, deeds, to the valus of thies months' rent of the Farm for the dos performance of the conditions on which the privilege la granted and of the stipulations of agreement in respect thereof, and the security previously deposited with the Treasurer on the lender being received will be retained until such successful tenderer shall have deposited such security.
5.-The Governer in Council will execute to the accepted Tenderer a Grant in the form, or as Bear thereto as may be here Incites set out.
6.- Datlug the continuance of the privileges the saccessial tenderer shall be entliled to the use of trade mark to be approved by the Governor In Council on all Oplum prepared by hits.
CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED OF THE GRAN- TRE CF THE OPIUM FARM, AND THE BREACH OF WHICH WILL. INVOLVE LIARI- LITY TO THE FORFZITUAR OF THE GRANT AND OF THE SECURILY DEPOSITED WITH THE TREASURER.
(1). The payment of the monthly fee regu. larly in advance, from the 1st day of March, 1898.
(2)To have no Oplum in possession except what is reported through the Imports and Ex- ports Office; and, paless the special permission of the Governor to exceed that amount is obtained, 19 draw not more than 300 chests in asy two consecutive months, of which not more than 175 chests are to be drawn in any ont monib,
(3)-Not to part with any Oplum to the ra tale, either by sale or otherwise, but only pre- pired Oplom fit for Smoking.
Not to grant to any person any licence ta boll or prepare Oplum.
(S)-To have such establishments only for bolling as may be approved by the Governor.
(6)-Not to have loose Oplum (as defined by The Raw Oplum Amendment Ordinance, 1891), elsewhere than in his holling establishments.
(7)To supply the licensees of Opiam Divany, duly coased by the Colonial Secretary | under Ordinance No. 15 of 1897, with a Oplum and Cross Oplum required by them, at rales not exceeding the market rales at the Max.
