The minutes of the last meeting were read. and confirmed.

SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES.

The Colonial Treasurer, moved the second reading of the Bill entitled “ An Ordinance to authorise the appropriation of a supplementary | sum of thres hundred and forty-one thousand and twenty-five dollies and thirty-seven cistu tó defray the charges ofthe year 1895. Ha gare a detalled statement of the actual and nominal expenditure for 1890, also of the revenue, estimated and sclunk, fox that year. The mil. Itary contribution and the Praya Reclamation Works were also treated at length.

On the motion of the Colonial Treasurer seconded by the Colonial Secretrry theo blil was read a second time and referred to the Finance Committee..

DISEASED MILK BILL.

The Attorney-General moved the second read. Ing of the Bill snitted "An Ordinance to prevent the spread of infections disenge stising from the consumption of contaminated or un wholesome milk." He pointed out that many daisten had been in the babit of adulterating their milk and the object of the bill was to check this and also the handling of milk by diseased persons, and the use of diseased animals. The bi would have a whölziomu effect and was the same as that in force in England. The second reading was agreed to.
