THE STAFF AND BUSINESS CONCERNS. Following upon the recent motion by the Captalo-Superintendent of Police relative to the Board's staff engaging in businessfconcerns, the Secretary Tald his report on the table. The report contained the answers of 3 clerks, 16 Inspectors, to interpraters, I overseer, & foremen, 9.Watchmen, a shroffa, and ♬ tallymen, In CT Case the answer was "I have no interest

The President moved that the report be lald

The Vice President spoke of having evidence, but it had not been before the Board. Several annoymens communications had been received never been substantiated, dinates of the board, some people would and whilelibis cloud hung over the suber always attach credence to them.
