the SHAREHOLDERS of the above COMPANY will be held at the COMPANY'S OFFICE, No. 9. NOON, when the subjoined Resolutions, which Praya Central, on FRIDAY, the agh June, were passed at the Extraordinary General Meet- lag of the Company held on the 5th Je, 1897, Resolutions:

(1) That the Capital of the Company be increased to the sum of $500,000 Horgkong Currency by the fame of thirty thousand new shares of ten dollars each, to be issued at a premium often dollars excb, such price of ten dollars each and also such premium of ten dollari eich to be payable in such amounts, at such times, and on such cendh itons as the General Managers shall from * time to time determine. (a)-That twenty thousand of such new shares be offered to the persons who on the 1st day of July, 1897, shall be the registered shatchriders of the old or exftilog shares In the propertion of one new share for every old or ex'sting share and such offer shall be made by a 'not'ce spreifying the number of new shares which each such reglered shareholder shall be entitled to take up, and limiting a time within which the offer if not accepted in writing will be deemed to ba not accepted, and all non-accepted shares shall be dupoed of for the benefit of the Company on such conditions as the General Managers shall determine. (3)That the regalding ten thousand new "ahares be allotted to the General Managers who have guaranteed to, apply for and accept that number,
