THE CAREW CASE, The greattrial at Yokohama has at length come to an end. Mrs. CARRW has been found guilty of the wilful murder of her husband and has been sentenced to death. The summing up would appear to have been short, considering the length of time the trial has taken up, and the jury required only half an hour for considera tion. No other termination of the case was possible after Mr. LOWDER S unfortunate mistake in charging Miss JACDB with the murder on evidence of the very weakest possible character. The most tender-hearted and well-disposed Jury must have found It Impossible to bring in any other verdict than that of guilty, when any failure on their part to do their duty must result la an enormous aggravation of the cloud of suspicion, sought to be thrown about the Innocent but unfortunate ALL then are selected by our London Hour, governess.
