W greatly regret having to record the death, at p.m. to-day, of Mr. Nicholas Nolan, paincipal Warder of Victoria Gaol, Mr. Nolan had been no less than twenty-five years a resident of this colony and had spent five-and-thirty years of his exemplary lie in 'the service of the British Government, during the last thirteen of which ha had fulfilled the arduous duties of principal Warder of the Gaol in a manner, wo bellere, that gave every satisfac.fon to his superiors. Fine weather greeted those who attended the third Gymkhana meeting of the season.
