From Miss Bosworth's letters it would appear that the missionaries thought the danger bad passed, and returned from Foochow to Kucheng, The largest Methodist mission in China is located at Foochow.

LONDON (Ont.), August 6th. Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Stewart, reported to have bern massacred at Kucheng, were wall known from Kucheng, China, which Mrs. Stewart here.
