"There never was such a popolar victory in the. blstory of the reguits. Triolty rowed beautifully together in true Varsity style, and gradually wore the Yankees down. The shouting for Trinily as the crew finished was tremendous. The Cornell (American) men, nevertheless, were in no wise derided by the enthusiasts. The feeble attempt to cheer them, however, did not meet wlib a response.
Cornell and Trinity Hall started in the fourth heat for the Grand Challenge Cup at 12.30 p.m. Ar the ball wille Cornell was leading, but Trinity Hall woo by eight lengths, the Cornell crow being wierly exhausted at the Galsh, As the Cornell crew boat crossed the finish lias Fenneli tumbled from his seat in a dead falne.
The day was bol and clear, with a wind lighter thin yesterday, though still blowing from the Bucks shore, and as the Cornell crew and the Berkshire shore the weather was considered slightly against them.
