NOTES AND COMMENTS.
We note that the Regiment now doing duty in Singapore isot tinguishing Itself by its orderly and peaceable demeanour and has brought down upon itself severe strictures from the public press. We extract and publish an article from the Straits Times on the subject, and we pray our good friends of the Rifle.
