The Colombian Legation here has been closed by Senor Renglle, that Government's attacke having been recalled to take his place in the army, which is fighting the revoluilonists in Colombia.

A severo engagement has been fought at Bogota between the Government forces and the rabeis. Two hundred of the latter were killed. The Government troops were under the personal command of the President.

The victorious troops have been sent by train from Cartagena to Michinan to engage the rebels.

Six Liberals have been arrested at Cartagena: Men are being prossed into the service of the Government.

PANAMA, JEBUGry 31st. The royal mail steamship Para has arrived battle from Cartagens, bringing news of a between the revolutionary forces and the Govern ment troops in the streets of Bogota. President Caro, it is reported, led in person two battalion of local artillery. The rebels were repolsed with heavy loss. Many prisoners were captured.
