The British steamship Mamnon reports that she let Sandakan on the 13th instant, and had and light to strong south-west to west-north-west winds with occasional squalls and very heavy rain
up to the 19th festant, in lat. 17.28 deg. north and long. 117 deg, east ; thence port had fresh to
strong east to east-south-east winds and equally dirty weather to the east- ward, with barometer falling. On the 19th instant passed a large four-mated barque, with stump top-gallant masts, steering about east- north-east, in lat, 17.38 drg north and long. 117 deg. cast.
