· overboard, but was promptly rescued from a watery grave.
The British steamship Hautam reports that she left Foochow on the 20th Instant, Amey on the 118, and Swatow on the sand. From Foo- chew to Amoy had fresh north-east breeze, and considerable ses, with cloudy weather. From Amoy to Swatow and to Hongkong bad light variable winds with smooth sea and cleady weather.
