The British steamship Chyraug reports that she left Shanghal for Swatow on the 8th Instant at 3.30 p.m. Had light variable, winds with smooth sea and overcast cloudy weather with misty rain at Intervals to Turnabout, which Island was passed on the 10th at 10 am. Shortly after passing Ocksen on the 10th. Experienced dense for, which continued to within so miles of the Lammocks, when It lifted.
