The second half of the programme began, after a pianoforte selection, with a very creditable mandaline solo by Mr. Ficear, who next gave a step-dance, which was greatly appre. c'ated. The model Irish policeman" is a sketch affording great scope for grotesque treat ment, and Mr. Freear certainly made the most of it, and was greeted with roams of laughter and applause. In his next sketch, a simporator on "Reform "curiously enough he looked remark ably like a famous local official orator who has lately been distinguishing himself, and spoke in very rauch the same style, to the great delight of the audience. Mr. Freear's conjuring is one of the funniest and most original things ever seen, while his concluding act, the great impersona tion of Malame Oyster Patti, in her "apper-attic" selection, brought down the house and knocked the audience silly with laughter.

It is to be sincerely hoped that Mr. Freear will be in improved health to-night, and acquit bimself as favourably as on Saturday, to a crowded house.
