SUICIDE ON AB. & S. STEAMER,

Swatow, August 1st. Messrs. Butterfield & Swire's steamer Huper with her faga half mast. It was ascertained arrived here yesterday moming from Hongkong that Mr. Lewis, third officer, had committed suicide on the voyage, by shooting himself in the month with a revolver. An inquest was beld last night, and the funeral took place this morning. The Hudch will be in Hongkong in a day or two.
