This Steamer was built for the Eastern and Australian Steamship Co., Ld., specially for their Australian trade, where she way favourably known, and, under her present ownership, she has obtained an excellent reputation in the Coolie and Pligrim-trades from Singapore to the- Coromandel Coast and Jeddah,

She is large deadweight carrier, and has carried 2,800 tons Measurement of Tea with 550 tons of Coal lo her banken. She steam ID to 17 knots ch a consumption of 18 to 20 tons of Cardiff Coal.
