We do not say that, in course of time, when Hong kong has a real and not merely a so-called local postal delivery, when letters are delivered at stated hours at private residences as well as at the hongs and offices in various sections of the city, these letter boxes will not serve the same useful purpose as they do in towns at home; but at present, if our morning contemporary's person living at East Point wished to have an Important letter delivered at West Point dia a pillar box and the Post Office and posted it early in the morning, it would probably be delivered, If addressed to a private residence, sometime next day.
