A MORTGAGE CASE.
Mr. Francis, Q.C. (instructed by Mr. Hastings) applied on behalf of the Hongkong, Canton and Macao Steamboat Company for an order to foreclose on a mortgage entered into between that Company and Leung Hing Shai affar Ng San Mul. There was no appearance on the
other side.
The petition set out that Leung Hing Shul was a spinster, living at 108 Queen's Road West, and Lot 165. On the 29th August last she borrowed was the registered owner of Section 6 of Inland 5,000 on the property from the Company, at last she executed a second mortgage with James per cent, per annum. On the 14th January
the same rate, and subsequentis executed a deed of composition, appointing Luk Wong trustee.
