A GAMBLING house at Shaukiwan was disturbed by Inspector Corcoran last night and seven men gathered in, together with the usual tables, and gambling articles and nearly $200 in money. This morning the men were charge before Mr. Wise at the Police Court, and on the application of Mr. Phillippo, who appeared for three of the defendants, the case was remanded. Two of the defendants are Chinese constables.
