IT is greatly to he regretted that any local clal event should have practically marred the financial success of such a high-class and deserving entertainment as that which was provided by Madame Paley's Concert Party at the City Hall on Saturday night. The nineteenth ordinary general meeting of shareholders in the above named Company was held this afternoon at the Company's office, for the of receiving a Report of the General a Statement of Accounts to the Managers, and 3181 December, 1890. The Chairman said that as the report and accounts had been in the shareholders bonds for some time he thought they might be taken as read. The result of the last, year was an Improvement on the previous year, owing times" all round.
