The American mail steamship City of Peking reports that she left San Francisco on the 5th Instant af 350 p.m. Had mederate westerly winds the first days, then for, 6 days moderate to strong wind, backing from south-east to north- north-east with rough sea, misty and overcast weather. The last 6 days had variable winds from south and south-west with rough sea

anlved at Yokohama on the sand at 3.30 pm, 16 days, 6 hours and 39 minutes, the Peking's best trip to the westward by 12 hours and 36 minutes. Sailed from Yokohama on the 34th at 4.30 am. The first 24 hours south-west gale with rough sea. Fine weather through the Van Dieman's Straits; thence calm weather and dense fog to the Brothers. The remainder had fine weather and smooth sea; arrived here this morning at 5.46 o'clock, beating her best time to Hongkong by 15 hours and 38 minutes.
