The British steamship Thales reports that she left Taiwanfae on the 21st instant, Amoy on the 22nd, and Swatow on the 24th. From Tal- wanfoo to Amoy had calm and thick fog through out. From Amoy to Swatow had light variable airs and smooth sea with light hazy weather the first part, and the latter part had dense fog. From Swatow to port had fresh north-east breeze and moderate sea with overcast sky and hary weather: In Amoy, the steamship Halloong In Swatow, the steamship Woosung.
