The German steamship Sachsen reports that she left Shanghai on the rath instant. Had· strong north-east monsoon.

The British steamship Sarbidon reports that she left Liverpool, via Singapore on the 7th instant. Had fine weather throughout

The German steamship Bellona reports that

she left Hamburg on the 26th January, and Singapore on the 7th instant. Had ane weather to Paracels; from there to port had strong north cast winds and high sea.

The British steamship Haiphong reports that, the left Kobe on the 8th instant. Through the Inland Sea had light wind, and fine weather, From Yoth to 11th had fresh north-easterly winds; thence to port had strong north-easterly winds, accompanied by terrific'squalls and much rain.

The British steamship Palinuruie reports that sbe left Shanghai on the gth instant, and Swatow on the 13th. From Shanghai to Temabout had moderate north-eat winds, with foggy and hary

easterly wind and continuous rain, From Swatow to Hongkong had strong north-east winds and high sea with rain throughout.
