REPORTS...
The British steamship Glenfruin reports that she left London on the 1st ultimo, and Sings pore on the 20th instant. Had light monsoon and smooth water throughout. On the 16th instant, passed the bark Charger, of Boston, from Hongkong to Calcutta, in lat. 2.55 north and long, 100.50 east, wished to be reported.
The British steamship Kwisang reports that she left Calcutta on the 8th instant; cleared the Hooghly River at 3 p.m. on the gth; Table Island on theurth at 4,50 pm. : Nercondam on the 12th at i am. entered Penang at 7 p.m. on the 14th, and left Penang on the 15th at 6 p.m. In Penang, the steamship Wingsang: Cape Richards on the 16th at 5 pm.; entered Singa pore on the 17th at 8 am., left again on the 19th at noon; arrived here inst night at 7 o'clock. From Calcutta to Penang experienced light north-east winds with fine weather and smooth sea. From Penang to Singapore had hot, sultry and calm weather with occasional showers;
thence to port had strong monsoon and fine
weather.
