The British steamship Lennox reports, that she left Saigon on the 16th instant. From Saigon to Paracels bad light variable winds and smooth sea ; thence to port had fresh northerly winds and confused sex.
The British steamship Păra Chula Chom Kiao reports that she left Bangkok on the 14th instant. Had light winds and fine weather to the Paracels; thence had strong head winds with high sea and thick dirty weather.
The British steamship Yuensang reports that she left Shanghai and Swatow, on the 15th instant. On the 16th had light winds and high south-south-east sea. On the 18th had very thick fog, vessel at anchor off the Brothers,
The British steamship Nestor reports that she left Shanghai, and Amoy on the 19th instant From Shanghai to Dodd Island had variable winds and foggy weather; thence to port had strong north-east winds and cloudy weather.
'The American mail steamship City of Peking reports that she left San Francisco on the 22nd ultimo at 3.13 p.m. Had fresh winds from north- west, west and south-west the entire passage } arrived at Yakobama on the 13th instant at 11.13 p.m.; sailed on the 15th at 6.06 am, on the 16th had strong gale from south-south-east ; thence to Hongkong bad fresh north-west winds and rough sea arrived here this morning at 7.41 o'clock.
