RIPORTS,
The British steamship Ardgay reports that she left Bangkok on the 3rd instant. Had mode- rate to fresh monsoon, till off Cape Padaraa; thence to port had moderate north-east gale, and
high sea.
The German steamship Ingraham reports that she left Saigon on the 6th instant. Had mode rate winds and sea. From 18 north lat, and 114 cast long, had strong east-north-east winds with heavy sea and squally weather.
The British steamship Japan reports that she, left Calcutta on the 24th ultimo, Penang on the 31st, and Singapore on the 3rd instant. After leaving Singapore experienced fine weather up to lat. 18 north; thence to arrival had strong north- cast winds and heavy sca. On the night of the 8th instant, passed a sailing vessel, bound south.
The British steamship Namoa' reports' that that she left Foochow on the 7th instant. Experi- enced light variable winds with dull cloudy weather to Amoy. Lek Amoy on the gth, and Swatow on the roth. From Amoy to Swatow had strong north-east gale and high following sen with fine clear weather, and from Swatow to port had moderate north to north-west winds with fine weather. In Faochow, the steamship
sang, Hailoong, and Socchow.
