Models of the Lookay, the Tigre, and others have been sent to the Paris Exhibition, where, after this successful voyage to Yunnan, they will be sure to attract attention as developing. the shortest route from the sea to Yunnan and thus ensuring the future prosperity of Tonquis.

Imbault-Huart, Consul for France at Canton, to sell the lease hold land, hither unoccupied, on the French Concession of Shamien.
